THINK ABOUT THINGS DIFFERENTLY.

Perception vs. Reality.
Over the weekend, I took some great advice and established a consistent routine when approaching the tee. During a spring storm, I found myself on a golf simulator, and after a good conversation, I decided to approach the ball differently. I focused on a sequence: grip first, then club alignment, then my footing. By thinking differently and building that routine, my swing changed.
The results? Straighter, stronger, and more consistent shots to the same target. My old perception was that footing was the most important, but the reality was that alignment and routine made the difference.
The same lesson applies in business.
There's a persistent myth in business: to be influential, you must have a big title and sit at the perceived top. But the truth? Influence isn't about hierarchy, it's about solving real problems, meeting real needs, and delivering meaningful value.
Build a routine. Execute. Not only will you find consistency, but you'll also elevate your impact.
And success? It doesn't need to come with a title.
Too many chase titles for validation, forgetting that true value is created through action, insight, and a genuine drive to make things better. The best contributors and leaders aren't always the ones with the biggest titles. They’re the ones who serve, build, listen, and solve. The ones who help others grow their careers and direct them toward the right paths.
Success isn't just about where you land on the org chart. It's about the impact you make, the alignment between your work and your values, and your willingness to challenge the status quo in service of something better.
Build your consistency. Build your influence. Let’s stop equating titles with worth. Let's start recognizing those who drive change, not for applause, but because they care deeply about outcomes. And if you want help with building your business routine, DM me!
Think differently.
